The environmental protection tax law of the People's Republic of China will be put into effect on January 1, 2018.

The main levying scope of the environmental tax law is:

Four kinds of air pollutants, water pollutants, solid wastes and noise. And this category includes most manufacturing and some of the more serious pollution processing industry, involving about 5000000 types of enterprises.

The Environmental Tax Law lists the tax items and taxes for environmental protection tax, and also specifies that the amount of air and water pollutants is determined by the provincial government, which is decided by the Standing Committee of the provincial people's congress.

According to statistics, Fujian, Guizhou Provincial People's Congress has passed the provincial tax plan, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Guangdong province has announced a program for comments, Guangxi, Sichuan province in the municipal government or enterprise level research.

According to the environmental protection tax law attached to the "environmental protection tax items tax table", the applicable amount of atmospheric pollutants is 1.2 yuan to 12 yuan per pollution equivalent, the water pollutant applicable tax amount is 1.4 yuan to 14 yuan per pollution equivalent.

The original sewage charges standard, or different, the "fee to tax" provinces also have different ideas. In many provinces, the original standard of sewage charges is translated into environmental tax, while some provinces have raised the standard.

Which province is the most expensive?
The specific reference data of each province are as follows:

Guangdong: air pollution per pollutant equivalent of 1.8 yuan; water pollution per pollutant equivalent to 2.8 yuan. Compared to the current levy standard for sewage charges has gone up. (not yet voted by the provincial people's Congress)

Fujian: air pollution per pollution equivalent of 1.2 yuan; water pollutants, five heavy metals, chemical oxygen demand and ammonia nitrogen per pollution equivalent of 1.5 yuan, other water pollutants per pollution equivalent of 1.4 yuan. Basically follow the tax shift". (voting by the provincial people's Congress)

Zhejiang: air pollution per pollution equivalent of 1.4 yuan, four kinds of heavy metal pollutants are 18 yuan per pollution equivalent; water pollutants per pollution equivalent of 1.4 yuan, five kinds of heavy metal pollutants per pollution equivalent of 1.8 yuan. Guizhou: air pollution per pollutant equivalent of 2.4 yuan; water pollution per pollutant equivalent to 2.8 yuan. Two times the current standard for sewage charges in Guizhou. (voting by the provincial people's Congress)

Jiangsu: air pollutants and water pollutants in the major pollutants levied standards are 4.8 yuan and 5.6 yuan per pollutant equivalent. Basically follow the tax shift". (not yet voted by the provincial people's Congress)

Jiangxi: air pollution per pollutant equivalent of 1.2 yuan; taxable water pollutants per pollution equivalent of 1.4 yuan. Follow the "tax shift", and the minimum tax standard.
